Our Mission

Founded in 2023 in memory of A1C Braxton A. Nimmo, the 23-5 Foundation is resolute in its mission. Our purpose is to pay homage to our son's enduring legacy by actively engaging in local youth athletics, fostering a love for sports, with a major focus on the soccer community,  Through the dedicated fundraising efforts of our foundation, our focus is directed towards assisting young players and local programs in alleviating the financial constraints associated with the sports, including registration fees, uniforms, equipment, and training expenses.

Braxton's profound passion for soccer has been a beacon of inspiration for us all over the years. As we  "Continue the Dream," we honor him in the most meaningful way, ensuring that his love for the game remains an enduring force.

Our Mission

Our Family: Our Soccer Journey

We're more than just a family – we're a "Soccer Family."

Meet the heart and soul of our team: Isaiah, Braxton, and Levi, our three soccer-loving sons. It all began with two years in the Crestview City League. With Dad (Sam) as the coach and Mom (Samantha) stepping in as the Team Mom, those early days were a true family affair.

As time whisked us forward, the boys took on new challenges, moving to travel soccer with FC Dallas Emerald Coast. Braxton spent an incredible 7 years there, while Isaiah and Levi gave it their all for 5 years. And Dad? Well, he proudly coached for a remarkable 6 years, bringing his expertise to the field.

Even during winter breaks, soccer was a constant. The boys joined Shoal River Middle School's team, with Isaiah playing 2 years, Braxton shining for 3, and Levi contributing for 1. High school saw Isaiah and Braxton continuing their journey at Crestview High School. Braxton's dedication was awe-inspiring – he played all 4 years while also being part of JROTC for the same duration.

Throughout 9 amazing years, soccer was woven into the fabric of our lives. We treasured every second, creating cherished memories, exploring new places, and building lifelong friendships. And now, as a way of saying thank you to the soccer community that brought us so much joy, we're excited to give back and share the spirit of family and soccer with others
